Before requesting an estimate
Start with the visible condition, existing materials, access, and the specific project goal. Permit requirements depend on the project and the applicable local authority.
Photos showing the closet or shelving area, approximate dimensions, and what needs to be stored can help with the initial review. Some projects may still require an on-site evaluation before the final scope is determined.

Local notes
Practical details that can help clarify the request before the initial review.
Denton properties can vary considerably in layout, age, and finish, so closet sizes and existing shelving conditions differ meaningfully from one home to the next.
A few photos from different angles, along with the closet’s approximate dimensions, help clarify whether the request is a simple repair or a larger storage redesign.
If a previous owner already added shelving or a closet system, we look at the condition of that existing work, since reusing sound framing or hardware can reduce the scope compared to a full teardown and rebuild.
We also note any signs of past moisture or settling near the closet area, since those conditions should be addressed before new shelving is installed.
