Before requesting an estimate
Start with the visible condition, existing materials, access, and the specific project goal. Permit requirements depend on the project and the applicable local authority.
Photos showing the closet or shelving area, approximate dimensions, and what needs to be stored can help with the initial review. Some projects may still require an on-site evaluation before the final scope is determined.

Local notes
Practical details that can help clarify the request before the initial review.
Because Carrollton includes both established homes and more recently updated residential properties, closet interiors can range from original narrow shelving to systems that have already been upgraded once before.
We ask for the home’s approximate age along with photos of the current closet interior, since that combination helps determine whether an upgrade or a more involved rebuild is the better starting point.
When a closet sits inside a recently updated room, we check the existing trim, paint, and door hardware so new shelving does not stand out against surrounding finishes.
For homes without recent updates nearby, we discuss material options that fit the closet’s existing footprint and the overall budget.
